It's damn hot here in Japan... 36 degC. I'm melting and really want to go back where I was.
Anyhow I can finally upload something here. (Since I forgot to take my camera with me I have no picture about my maritime trip. Sucks.) I made this letter box at Jacques's shop, which is about 12"x9"x7", made of Mahogany, Bubinga, and white Oak. It's not a well-thought combination but just a off-cut recycle project. I like these "exercise" projects which I don't have to show in public. A bit of tear-outs are nothing to worry, you can make them as fast as possible, and can be somewhat challenging.

It may not have been a "well-thought" combination but it works! Nice design too, I like the two level box.
